DP WPC: A Symbol of Thanks

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”

The kangaroos above the entrance of the town hall in Villers Bretonneux symbolise the gratitude of the town’s people to the Australians who liberated them in World War I.

As seen on the War and Champagne leg of our 2009 holiday.
