The view through the gap

At the end of our walk to Lake Reid in New Zealand’s beautiful South Island we sat for a while enjoying the view through the gap in the mountains.

We loved this area around Glenorchy and Kinloch and intended to go back. Little did we know that just 2 years later our son would be working in this area and we’d take this same walk again while visiting him.

Perhaps we’ll get back there again one day.
