Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring!

This is my favourite photo from this week’s challenge. Amid all the pictures of birds, flowers and baby animals, nothing says spring to me like this expression of nature emerging from winter.

This week’s challenge: Spring!

Vail Pass, CO, USAAs we’re wandering the Argentinian Andes and only entering winter here, it’s hard to think about spring everywhere else…  Nevertheless, here or there, there is proof enough of the season changing…  Picture taken on Vail Pass, CO, USA.

Weekly photo challenge: Spring

Today our weather became decidedly autumnal so it was nice to use this challenge as an excuse to look through some photos from my trip to the UK with Mum a few years ago. One of the things I most wanted to see in the Cotswolds was Morris Dancers and I had arranged to be at The Duke of Cumberland’s Head for this display. Even the pub name brings a smile to my face when I think of it.
