Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Letters and Numbers

The letters tell you what you’re buying, the numbers tell you how much you’re paying.

Just in case you’re in any doubt about how expensive things are at Harrod’s, these prices are British Pounds per 100 grams.

So, yes, Wagyu Rib Eye is £330.00 per kilo. At today’s prices that’s around $680.00 per kilo for us Australians. Just a little bit more than our usual $20/kg for rib fillet or $11/kg for rump. Not Wagyu, I’ll grant you, but surely it can’t be that much better.

This outrageous price was seen during our 2013 30th Anniversary holiday.
